Jersey Flegg Team List – Round 21

The Jersey Flegg Sharks remained well and truly in the hunt for a Finals berth with an emphatic 42-16 win over Souths, however the challenge steps up a notch when they face a fellow top-five aspirant in a round 21 clash on Saturday.

The Sharks stayed in sixth position as a result of their victory and while they failed to move up in the competition standings, however they closed the gap on those immediately in front of them, with the young Cronulla team one point in arrears of the third placed Panthers, the Wests Tigers who are fifth and their opposition this weekend in the Dragons who are fourth.

After successive losses, the Sharks bounced back to form with a strong performance against Souths, one coach George Ndaira will be hoping for a repeat of in the game which will be played as the curtain-raiser to the NRL match between the same two teams.

In the Rabbitohs win it was the outside men stealing all the headlines, with Tom Rodwell crossing for four tries, his wing partner Sam Stonestreet a double.

The Sharks v Dragons Flegg match is scheduled for a 5.15pm kick off at PointsBet Stadium. See the Sharks team listed below.
