Late Mail - Sharks v Tigers

The Sharks have confirmed their team changes as revealed last night, with Aiden Tolman out of the team to play the Tigers today, to be replaced by Jack Williams.

Tolman, who chalked up 300 NRL games in the win over the Knights last weekend, returned a positive Covid test earlier in the week.

For Williams it will be his first game in the top grade in 2022, with the talented backrower missing their first two rounds with a knee injury, before returning to the field with the Sharks NSW Cup partner club the Newtown Jets.

In the other team change for the Sharks, Braydon Trindall comes out of the Cronulla side, where he was named on the interchange bench, his place to be taken by Royce Hunt.

After seeing limited game time as the bench utility option for the NRL team over the past two weeks Trindall went back to the Jets yesterday to get some game time, with the half-five eighth playing a leading role in Newtown's big win over the Magpies (CLICK HERE for a match report and game highlights).

Otherwise the Sharks team will run out as selected on Tuesday as they aim for a fourth consecutive win.

The round five Sharks v Wests Tigers clash is scheduled to get underway at 4.05pm, see the two 17-man team lists below.
