The Matthews Cup Sharks will be looking to continue their unbeaten run, while for their SG Ball counterparts Sunday shapes as almost a must-win due to the rain-shortened 2022 season, with the two Cronulla junior rep teams in action at PointsBet Stadium on Sunday.
While the Sharks Ball side had last weekend off, the Matthews Cup Sharks continued their impressive form with a 34-0 thumping of the Central Coast Roosters and will go into their round six clash with the Sea Eagles with a level of confidence.
The under-17 Sharks have three wins and bye from the four rounds so far contested and sit on top of the competition table.
As for the SG Ball Sharks, a win in Victoria in round four was their first of the season, with the washed out and abandoned round five not helping their cause as they aim for a finals berth, making their match with Manly crucial to their chances.
The two junior rep fixtures will be played at PointsBet Stadium on Sunday, the Matthews Cup kicking off at 2.30pm, the SG Ball at 4.00pm.
