Round 1 Late Mail - Sharks v Raiders

It will be a Sharks line up as named on Tuesday for their first game of the 2022 season with the Cronulla team 1-17 for tonight's match against the Raiders. 

The Sharks line up features three players new to the Club in Dale Finucane, who will captain the side, Nicho Hynes and Matt Ikuvalu. 

Otherwise the team takes on a familiar look to the 2021 outfit, however the Sharks will tonight be missing Wade Graham with a ankle problem, Connor Tracey with groin issues and another of the new recruits in Cam McInnes who missing the opening round match with a knee injury. 

And in a positional switch, Ronaldo Mulitalo moves from the wing into the centres in the absence of Tracey, with Ikuvalu to debut for the Sharks on the wing. 

Jesse Colquhoun drops out of the 19-man squad from the team which was trimmed down from 24 last night, while Luke Metcalf will be the concussion substitute. 

 The Sharks v Raiders match is scheduled to get underway at GIO Stadium in Canberra at 6.00pm, with the two final 17-man squads listed below.
