Taco Team List Tuesday
Sharks coach Craig Fitzgibbon has selected a team with three players new to Cronulla club, alongside returning stars from the 2021 season for their round one match against the Raiders on Friday night.
Matt Ikuvalu, Nicho Hynes and Dale Finucane will debut for the Sharks in the game kicking off at GIO Stadium at 6pm, while injury has forced a positional change in the backline.
Connor Tracey has been ruled out after pulling up with groin soreness following the Bulldogs trial, Ikuvalu has been chosen on the wing, Mulitalo moving from the wing into the centres.
As predicted Matt Moylan will partner Hynes in the halves, with the bench featuring four big men, with Aiden Tolman, Siosifa Talakai, Royce Hunt and Andrew Fifita making up the interchange.
In following NRL Apollo guidelines, the Sharks have named 24 players for Friday's match, with the squad to be trimmed 24 hours prior to kick off. All 24 players however will travel to Canberra with the team.
