Back to PointsBet – Secure your 2022 Sharks Membership

Training has ramped up this week with the return of the Sharks stars and excitement is high as pre-season preparations continue ahead of the 2022 NRL season.

Coach Craig Fitzgibbon and his support staff have been impressed with what they’ve seen so far, and while there is still plenty of hard work to do in the weeks and months ahead, everybody is extremely positive about the Sharks prospects for next year.

Making it even better, the Sharks are back at PointsBet Stadium after two years away as the club looks forward to welcoming fans home and now is the ideal time to secure your 2022 Sharks Membership.

The renewal period has expired, with memberships on sale and now available in all categories and with the reduced capacity due to the ongoing construction in and around PointsBet Stadium, don’t delay and join the Sharks family for next year.

Coach Fitzgibbon penned a letter to returning members, emphasising the important role you can play as a Sharks Member in 2022.

“We are looking forward to a big 2022 season and to welcome you back to PointsBet Stadium. Members are an important part of our club and when you become one, you become part of the Sharks family. Sign up today and get in early!

The passionate support of Sharks members and fans always made PointsBet Stadium an intimidating place for visiting teams to play.

I was on the receiving end on many occasions as a player and more recently as a coach I’ve seen firsthand how the Sharks home crowd can lift their team when times are tough. Which all makes it very exciting that in 2022 I’ll be on your side!!

A loyal member, one that gets vocal and makes plenty of noise on game day, is critical to the success of a team, with the players, coaches and staff, extremely grateful for the unwavering support they provide.

We want to earn that support and as a playing group and staff, we will be doing everything in our power to be a team Sharks members can be proud of. Certainly, the team will want to play a brand of football that will entertain, but our primary goal is to be a competitive force in the 2022 NRL competition.

I watched from afar the performances of the Sharks last season, with your Porter-Gallen Medal winner Will Kennedy, young backs Ronaldo Mulitalo, Connor Tracey, Sione Katoa and Jesse Ramien, as well the likes of forwards Toby Rudolf and Braden Hamlin-Uele, leading the way as the team narrowly missed the NRL Finals.

I know that not just those I’ve mentioned but all the returning players are very excited to be joined by the experienced Dale Finucane, Cam McInnes and Nicho Hynes, as well as having a fit and firing Wade Graham back on deck, with the leadership they will provide to be invaluable.

We are under no illusion that there is plenty of hard work ahead of us, but we will embrace the challenge and be ready to go come round one next March.

I can’t emphasise enough, that our members are important, you can have a significant influence on our success, so I encourage you to join us on what promises to be a thrilling journey.

I hope to have you on board with us in 2022.

We’re back home, back at PointsBet Stadium next year, let’s fill the stands and make it that place where other clubs fear to play."
