The win puts the Sharks two points clear of the Titans and ahead of Canberra on points differential in the battle for eighth spot on the ladder.
The start was a good one from the boys, Sione Katoa finishing off the backline movement with a trademark put down in the corner, but the Broncos hit back with two quick tries of their own.

Some ill-discipline from the Brisbane side gave the Sharks a leg up though, with Tom Flegler sent for ten and the Sharks able to rectify a 10-4 Broncos lead to become a Sharks 18-10 lead at the break.
The Broncos had plenty of possession in the second, but some desperate goal-line defence from the Sharks kept them at bay to close out the match.
