Late Mail - Sharks v Tigers

Sharks rookie Luke Metcalf is set to play his first NRL game in the run-on side when his team takes on the Wests Tigers at Browne Park in Rockhampton today.

Metcalf has seen limited game time in his to previous top grade appearances, however with the withdrawal of Mewene Hiroti, the youngster gets his opportunity in the halves alongside Braydon Trindall.

Connor Tracey, originally selected at five eighth, moves into the centre position for a game which could determine the finals fate of both teams.

The other big inclusion for the Sharks is that of Matt Moylan, with the experienced playmaker named on the interchange bench for today's game.

Moylan has battled a calf injury in recent week.

Teig Wilton also returns after being sidelined with a hamstring issue, while newcomer Kai O'Donnell is 18th man.

The Sharks and Tigers game gets underway at 3pm, with the two 17-man team lists, along with the 18th man concussion substitutions, listed below.
