BREAKING: Late Mail - Sharks v Broncos

BREAKING: Further to the Late Mail as published earlier today, Matt Moylan is a late omission from the Sharks team to play the Broncos.

Moylan injured a calf in the warm up and was ruled out of the game, his place to be taken by Braydon Trindall.

Mawene Hiroti has been added to the interchange bench, with Billy Magoulias the 18th man and concussion substitution.

Late Mail (as of 1pm local time)

The Sharks will be missing Will Chambers, while coach Josh Hannay has made a switch to his starting team for the game against the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium today.

Chambers is still in Melbourne awaiting the berth of his third child and will miss the match in Brisbane, with Connor Tracey, in what might be a preview of the Sharks 2022 backline, moving from the wing into the centres.

Sione Katoa, the Sharks leading try scorer in 2020, returns to the NRL side after a lengthy stint on the sideline with injury, slotting into Tracey's spot on the wing.

In the only other change to the Sharks line up, talented youngster Teig Wilton has been elevated into the run on team in the back row, with Siosifa Talakai to start the match from the interchange bench.

The Sharks bench will comprise Talakai, Braydon Trindall, Braden Hamlin-Uele and Jack Williams. Billy Magoulias and Mawene Hiroti travelled to Brisbane for today's game but have been left out of the 17-man team.

The Sharks v Broncos match is scheduled for a 2.00pm kickoff at Suncorp, with the Cronulla team aiming for a fifth consecutive win as they continue their push towards a top eight berth.
