Successful 2021 Sharks SDP comes to an end
The Sharks Skills Development Program, which this year featured a focus on teaching safe tackling techniques, with input from NRL squad members Shaun Johnson, Sione Katoa, Teig Wilton, Connor Tracey and Luke Metcalf, has wound up following the six sessions conducted at PointsBet Stadium. The 150 youngsters who took part, aged from 5-12 years of age, made this year’s SDP the Sharks biggest and most successful ever. Following the conclusion of the SDP all participants had the opportunity to play pre-match and at half time of a Sharks NRL game. SDP Coaches included players from our Harvey Norman’s Women’s team, local JRL coaches and former Sharks legend Brett Kimmorley.
