Jersey Flegg team list – round 8

If the NRL Sharks were disappointed with their performance last Saturday night, so too their Jersey Flegg colleagues who were soundly beaten by the Bulldogs in the curtain-raiser at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.

The Flegg Sharks were well and truly in the contest as they trailed by just two points at the half time break, however three tries to their opponents in a 10-minute period blew the game open and as hard as the tried the under-21 Cronulla team couldn’t recover.

Now with three wins, two losses and a draw to show for their efforts so far this year, the Flegg Sharks will be looking to stay in touch with the leading teams and to bounce back this weekend when they host the South Sydney Rabbitohs in a round eight match to be played at PointsBet Stadium on Saturday.

The Sharks will go into the contest in fourth position on the ladder, with Souths in seventh, three points behind but with a game in hand.

The match is scheduled for a 3.00pm kick off on Saturday, with the Harvey Norman Women’s Sharks also playing the Rabbitohs at the same venue, that game getting underway at 1.00pm.
