Vote for your Round 4 Aramex Man of the Match

The first half was something of an attacking clinic, with the outside backs running riot as the Sharks built up a commanding 36-6 lead over the Cowboys.

Then battling injuries and with players out of position, the second 40 was equally impressive, the Sharks giving up just one try while scoring two of their own in going on with the job and registering their biggest ever win over the North Queensland side.

There were plenty of outstanding performers on the night, but it’s not for us to judge, as we throw it to our members and fans to decide on the round four Fan Vote Aramex man of the match.

From Will Kennedy, a constant menace and the back, the Sharks number one also crossing for two tries, Chad Townsend kicked eight from eight, laid on a number of four-pointers with clever kicking and ball work, while the versatility of local junior Connor Tracey continues to impress.

Usually a half back, Tracey started the game in the centres, was shifted to the wing, handling the positional switches like a seasoned veteran, scoring two tries on the day and keeping his opposites quiet through the match.

Or perhaps Blayke Brailey, who’s running game was on point, as was his kicking game, the Sharks hooker putting his team on the front foot with a 40-20, while delivering the kick which saw Tracey touch down for his second try of the game.

And that’s not forgetting the likes of Teig Wilton, another to move around to accomodate the injury issues, the youngster running for a team-high 216 metres while scoring his first NRL try, Matt Moylan continues his resurgence, Mawene Hiroti enjoyed his most productive outing in the Sharks NRL side, or any of the hard working forward pack who laid the platform for the backs to work their magic.

It was an excellent result for a Sharks team still missing a number of their NRL regulars.

So it’s over to you, plenty to choose from, but who was your best in the Sharks win over the Cowboys?
