For the second week in succession, Sharks members and fans have cast their votes in declaring Will Kennedy as the Aramex Man of the Match from the narrow round two loss to the Raiders.
The young fullback was again rock solid in the slippery conditions, scored a clever try in chasing a Chad Townsend grubber, his third four-pointer in just two games this season, while running for 172 metres on the day.
Kennedy attracted 37 per cent of the fan vote as the Sharks members best player in last weekend’s game.
Another to back up his week one efforts was lock Toby Rudolf, who with 31 per cent of the vote claimed two points in the Aramex Fan Vote Player of the Year standings.
Rudolf played 52 minutes in the testing conditions, ran for 160 metres and made 25 tackles in a busy performance.
Third on six percent after the actual voting numbers were tallied, was skipper Wade Graham in what was his 250th NRL game, marginally ahead of Townsend and centre Josh Dugan who both also registered six per cent of the member vote.
Blayke Brailey was another to earn the respect of the fans, five per cent of those believing his efforts at hooker to be worthy of praise.
