Sharks HNWP and Tarsha Gale Team Lists – March 23

The Sharks Harvey Norman Women Premiership and Tarsha Gale teams will be back in action after Sydney’s ‘big wet’ caused the cancellation of their matches last week.

The senior women had their match against Mounties washed out on Monday, after all junior rep fixtures, including all games in the Tarsha Gale competition were called off earlier in the weekend.

With fine weather predicted to return, so too will the girls be back in the field, the HNWP Sharks to play the Glebe Dirty Reds, the Tarsha Sharks the Wests Tigers as their respective competitions resume.

In the HNWP the Sharks started fast with an emphatic 54-6 round one win over Souths and now take on Glebe who suffered a heavy loss to St Mary’s in their only game so far this season.

With a team featuring a number of NRLW and women’s representative stars, the Sharks will be hoping to make it two wins from as many matches when they play the Dirty Reds in the round three clash.

That match is set down for Wentworth Park at 12.30pm on Sunday.

As for the Tarsha Sharks, sitting sixth and clinging onto a place in the top six ahead of the upcoming competition finals, they play a Wests Tigers outfit currently in third after recording four wins from their five matches so far this season.

The Sharks have notched two wins from their five games played.

The Round 8 Tarsha Gale Sharks v Wests Tigers match is scheduled for a 10am kick-off at PointsBet Stadium on Saturday, with games in the Matthews Cup (12pm) and SG Ball (2pm) to follow.

The two Sharks women’s teams, who are proudly sponsored by John Ryan Freight Management, are listed below.
