Taco Team List Tuesday

Sharks coach John Morris has named a predictable run-on side, with a couple of interesting interchange bench inclusions for his teams round one local derby clash with the St George Illawarra Dragons.

Wade Graham captains a Sharks squad which includes Matt Moylan at five eighth for the game that will bring to a close the opening weekend of the NRL season when it kicks off at 6.15pm on Sunday.

The Sharks will be without Shaun Johnson, Siosifa Talakai and Royce Hunt, with the trio continuing their rehabilitation following off-season surgeries, while youngster Luke Metcalf hasn’t been considered due to him still be on the club’s development list and not amongst their top 30 squad.

That being said, the Sharks will still field a formidable line up, Moylan to take over the halves duties from Johnson and with Aiden Tolman to play his first game for the Cronulla club.

Will Kennedy has won the battle for the number one jersey, with Connor Tracey selected in the bench utility role, while following a strong off-season the versatile Billy Magoulias has been chosen in the Sharks 17 and appears likely to take part in the season opener on Sunday.

The two teams met in a trial for players to have participated in less than 12 games last season, before both had their final hit-outs two weeks ago, the Sharks narrowly going down to the Bulldogs, while the Dragons suffered a big Charity Shield loss to the Rabbitohs.

The Sharks team for the game which kicks off at 6.15pm on Sunday, is listed below.
