With the decisions on the respective junior rep age groups for the 2021 season now having been made by the NSWRL, the Sharks are inviting players to submit applications to trial for the Matthews Cup, SG Ball and Women’s Tarsha Gale Cup teams.
In 2021 the Matthews Cup will be an under 17’s competition, the SG Ball under 19’s and the Women’s Tarsha Gale Cup also under 19’s.
To be held on Thursday the 15th and Saturday the 17th of October, the trials will be by invitation only and the submission of a nomination form will not guarantee participation.
All applications will also require an active email address, with all information to be sent to trial applicants via email.
The Sharks will again be looking to build strong junior representative squads, with all three teams having been competitive in the various competitions during the shortened 2020 season.
Trial details are as follows (subject to change)
Harold Matthews (U17s) - Thursday 15th October
SG Ball (U19s) - Saturday 17th October
Tarsha Gale (U19s) - Saturday 17th October
Venue – Applicants will be notified of times, venue and what to bring if successful in gaining a spot in the trial.
