On the back of a narrow loss in the wet last Sunday the Sharks will look to bounce back and to continue their push towards a top eight berth when they host the Gold Coast Titans in a round 14 clash this weekend.

The Sharks scored three tries to two in a 14-12 loss to the Eels, making Saturday afternoon’s game against the Titans a vital one in respect to their finals aspirations.

Coming through the Parramatta game relatively unscathed on the injury front, a head knock suffered late in the contest by Ronaldo Mulitalo the only concern, coach John Morris has been able to limit the changes to his Sharks line up, with only Andrew Fifita (finger) and Chad Townsend (calf) amongst the senior players unavailable for selection.

Despite sitting towards the bottom of the NRL ladder the Gold Coast have provided stern opposition for many of the leading teams in recent weeks and coming off a last start win over the Cowboys are expected to present a difficult challenge in a game the Sharks certainly won’t want to be taking lightly.

In a round eight match played on the Gold Coast earlier in the year the Sharks were able to beat the Titans 40-10.

The Sharks and Titans match is scheduled for a 3.00pm kick off at Kogarah’s Jubilee Oval on Saturday afternoon, with the Cronulla 21-man squad list and the game day information below.
