Footy fun returns with Sharks Holiday Clinics

With junior sports recommencing and the country returning to some normality, now is the time to get back in the footy mode by attending a Sharks School Holiday experience this July.

Post the COVID shut down the popular and extremely successful Sharks School Holiday experiences are set to return during the July School holidays, with Junior Jaws, Super Jaws and Mini Mermaids clinics catering for all youngsters looking to expend some energy and enjoy some footy fun.

To be held on Wednesday, July 15 at the Sharks Academy Field (behind Cronulla HS) includes Junior Jaws for the 4 to 9-year old’s, Super Jaws catering for older boys and girls 10 to 12 and the Mini Mermaid cheers clinics which continue to prove popular.

The Junior Jaws clinic will again focus on the fundamentals of Rugby League in a manner that will encourage young players to get involved in the fun of the game.

Super Jaws is an advanced clinic for boys and girls who wish to take their Rugby League skills to the next level.

The program is suitable for players of Tackle, Touch & Tag and the focus is on 1-on-1 coaching with our professional coaches and is conducted in small groups.

With the winter season footy about to get underway following the COVID shutdown, Super Jaws, a program is designed by Jason Stanton, former NZ Ferns Assistant Coach and Sharks Women's Coach, provides the perfect platform for skill development.

The experience and knowledge of Stanton and his coaching team ensure the program is second to none.

As well as a morning filled with plenty of footy fun, the participants in both Junior Jaws and Super Jaws will receive a t-shirt and showbag.

While last but by no means least, the Mini Mermaids cheer clinics also make a return over this upcoming school holiday period.

Those aged from 3 to 6 will be treated to 60 minutes of dance, including games and a short routine, followed by a signing and photo session with the Mermaids.

The girls in the 7 to 12 group will enjoy a two-hour dance clinic as they learn from and go through their routines with members of the Mermaids crew.

Each Mini Mermaid also receives a t-shirt and showbag for participating.
