Sharks ‘heating up’ with Madimack partnership

Madimack, one of Australia's leading providers of sustainable and efficient energy solutions for residential and commercial communities, has joined the Sharks corporate family in becoming the back of shorts partner for the 2020-21 seasons.

The Madimack branding will appear on the Sharks playing strip as soon as this Sunday afternoon for the big local derby clash against the St George Illawarra Dragons.

The new two-year partnership was confirmed by Sharks Head of Partnerships, Rebecca Hughes, who was thrilled that despite the uncertain economic times created by the global COVID pandemic that Madimack had agreed to throw their support behind the Cronulla club.

“It is exciting at any time to welcome a new corporate partner, but even more so in the current climate for us to be announcing leading energy solutions company Madimack has joined our corporate family,” Ms Hughes said.

“Their sponsorship support shows great confidence in the Sharks, our brand and the future we look forward to not only on field, but also with our Leagues Club redevelopment and the new Woolooware Bay precinct.

“Madimack are leaders in their industry and experts in their space and certainly complement what we thrive for here at the Sharks which is to achieve success not only in the NRL competition but also in the community and across our entire business.”

With the Sharks enjoying strong community support, while actively engaged with their community programs through Sharks Have Heart, Madimack’s CEO, Alex Welsh is enthusiastic about the new partnership and sees strong, community-focused alignment between Madimack and the Sharks.

“We are extremely pleased to have the opportunity to support the mighty Sharks because Madimack are strong supporters of engaging with community and giving something back,” Mr Welsh said.

“Our sustainable and efficient energy solutions deliver cost savings to members of our communities, giving them the chance to hold onto more of their hard-earned money.

“Since COVID-19 there have been unprecedented worldwide reports of reductions in CO2 emissions and environmental improvements.  Today more than ever we can see first-hand how living more sustainably can have a positive impact on our planet.

“Delivering solutions that can help protect the environment and its natural beauty is something that we are passionate about,” Welsh added.

“Through our partnership with the mighty Sharks we are attaching our brand to an association that has stood the test of time, is recognised and supported by its community and has genuine care and respect for the community at large.”
