Sharks centre Jesse Ramien, in his best performance since returning to the Sharks ahead of the 2020 season, was a standout pick as the fan poll man of the match from the game against the Cowboys last weekend.
Ramien scored twice and was responsible for two more in the strong Sharks win, his efforts earning praise from teammates and sections of the media, but also from members and fans who voted for the young centre as his teams best.
In claiming 71 per cent of the vote it was Ramien on top, ahead of his right side wing partner Ronaldo Mulitalo, also the scorer of two tries on the night in an impressive outing by the youngster.
Mulitalo, who will unfortunately be missing from the Sharks side for around four weeks after undergoing minor knee surgery, polled seven percent of the vote, with Shaun Johnson earning four percent to claim one point on the Sharks fan poll Player of the Year standings.
All five of the Sharks tries came on Johnson’s right hand side of the field, with the Kiwi five eighth contributing three try assists in the victory.
Other players to earn fan votes from the game against the Cowboys included prop Aaron Woods, five eighth Matt Moylan and fullback Will Kennedy.
