The Sharks have listened to the comments, taken on board player reaction and feedback from members and fans, and the ‘hoop’ jersey is back in 2020.
The Sharks 2020 home jersey has been officially launched, with the look a return to the traditional hoop, the design worn by club legends, greats of the past and many of the Cronulla teams of days gone by.
“I love playing for this jersey, it means a lot to me,” Sharks half back Chad Townsend expressed when extending his time at the Club last week.
And with the clean, traditional look, Townsend and his teammates are set to love running out in the 2020 strip, produced by new apparel supplier Dynasty Sport.
“I like the look of the 2020 jersey, the players had some input and from what we’ve been told of fan feedback, it’s what our loyal supporters wanted to see as well,” Sharks NRL Coach John Morris said.
While the NRL playing group will need to wait until the New Year to pull on a 2020 Sharks home jersey, members and fans can be in one before Christmas, with the jersey now available in Men, Ladies, Youth and Toddler sizes, along with a wide range of additional Dynasty Sport Sharks merchandise.
