Finals week 2 team list - Sharks v Rabbitohs

After going down to the Raiders in extra time in week one of the Jersey Flegg Finals, the Sharks will look to remain in the title race and to continue their quest for back-to-back Under 20’s premierships when they tackle Souths in a sudden death clash on Sunday.

The Flegg Sharks overcame a second half deficit to draw level with the Raiders in the closing minutes, only to concede a field goal to their rivals early in the extra time period.

After finishing as minor premiers it was a disappointing result for the young Sharks side, however they have a second chance this weekend against a Rabbitohs team which ended the regular season in fifth position before beating the Dragons 32-24 in week one of the Finals.

Sharks coach Daniel Holdsworth has named a side with just the one change to the team that went down to the Raiders, with five eighth Kai Broadhurst returning after missing last weekend match due to illness.

The Sharks and Souths Jersey Flegg final is scheduled for a 10am start at Leichhardt Oval on Sunday.

A Canterbury Cup Finals match between the Newtown Jets and the North Sydney Bears will follow at 12.10pm.
