Late Mail - Sharks v Tigers

Sharks star Shaun Johnson has been given the all clear and is set to take his place in the team for the do-or-die round 25 clash against the Wests Tigers.

Johnson was a late withdrawal from the Sharks side which went down in golden point to the Canberra Raiders, however his quadriceps problem has responded well to treatment this week and is set to be a vital cog in the Cronulla team for today's game.

In other team news, Matt Moylan lost his race to be fit in time to take on the Tigers and was withdrawn from the team when the squad was trimmed down from 21 to 19 yesterday.

Moylan had been named in jersey 21.

His unavailability means Josh Dugan again takes over at fullback, having overcome the concussion suffered in the Canberra match last Sunday afternoon.

Dugan underwent a stringent series of tests as a part of the concussion protocol, which takes place with independent medical practitioners.

He trained with energy and enthusiasm at his teams final training run, with Dugan looking to make his mark on this sudden-death clash later today.

Otherwise the Sharks are 1-17.

See the team lists below, with kickoff scheduled for 2.00pm.
