The Sharks play the Manly Sea Eagles in a Week One Finals Series match after their stirring win over the Wests Tigers earlier today.
Moving into seventh position on the NRL ladder, the Sharks face the sixth-placed Sea Eagles on Saturday night, with the kick off at 7.40pm.
At this stage however Lottoland (Brookvale Oval) is yet to be confirmed as the venue.
The NRL said today that Lottoland’s eligibility to host the game would be determined by a safety assessment.
The NRL was informed late on Friday evening that isolated traces of asbestos had been found in a small area of the hill at Lottoland.
The testing was part of the standard excavation planning for the new centre of excellence on the northern side of the stadium.
NRL CEO Todd Greenberg said a report into the safety of the venue was due to be supplied by 6pm Monday evening.
As a result the NRL will withhold ticket sales for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles-Cronulla Sutherland for 24 hours.
Tickets for Members for the Sea Eagles-Sharks match will go on sale at 10am on Tuesday (September 10).
General Public Tickets for the Sea Eagles-Sharks match will go on sale at 10am on Wednesday (September 11).
In other week one finals Premiers the Sydney Roosters will open thew weekend with a game on Friday night against traditional rivals South Sydney Rabbitohs at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
The NRL today confirmed the times and venues for Week One of the Finals Series, beginning with the first Finals match at the SCG for more than 80 years between the foundation clubs.

General Public tickets start from $25 for Adults and $65 for families.
