The Sharks will look to snap a five-game losing streak when they play host to the North Queensland Cowboys at PointsBet Stadium on Thursday night.

A one-point loss to the Warriors last Friday saw the Sharks drop out of the top eight, with a win over the Cowboys imperative should they hope to keep their finals aspirations alive.

Helping the Sharks cause will be the return of experienced campaigners Josh Morris and Josh Dugan, however Andrew Fifita is missing from the team as he serves his one-match suspension for a shoulder charge in the loss to the Warriors.

Matt Moylan will also miss the match due a hamstring issue, with Braden Hamlin-Uele named to start the game in place of Fifita.

Shaun Johnson and Paul Gallen have been given a clean bill of health after going into the Warriors game under injury clouds.

The game will also be the first of the Beanies for Brain Cancer round, with proceeds of beanies sold at the games over the weekend going to the Mark Hughes Foundation.
