The Sharks 'Mr-versatile' Kurt Capewell has been voted the Fan Poll man-of-the-match for his performance in the game against the Melbourne Storm last Saturday night.
Capewell began the game in the second row, before switching to the centres when Josh Dugan was forced from the field, with 38 per cent of those submitting a vote believing him to be the Sharks best on the night.
Dangerous with the ball, always busy in defence, Capewell was equally effective in both positions, scoring a second half try for his team and it was hard to argue with the fan's assessment of his contribution.
Also deservedly receiving a large number of votes was five-eighth Shaun Johnson, with the Kiwi's efforts in helping to bring the Sharks back to the brink of an unlikely comeback win earning him 27 percent of the votes and two points in the Fan Poll Sharks.com.au Player-of-the-Year.
Johnson's halves partner Chad Townsend (9 per cent) was the third choice, with the one point extending his lead in the overall player of the year standings.
