The Sharks have appointed experienced rugby league administrator Phil Moss as their new General Manager of Football.
Moss, who was Football Manager at the Sharks during the premiership-winning season of 2016 and again in 2017, has most recently worked in a similar position at the Gold Coast Titans.
After starting at the Eels as a volunteer in their junior representative system, Moss worked his way through to a senior football management role with the club some years later.
He moved to the Wests Tigers, then the Penrith Panthers in Football Manager positions, before arriving at the Sharks at the start of the 2016 season, where he worked with current head coach John Morris during his time as Elite Academy Coach and subsequently coach of the club’s under-20’s Holden Cup side.
Moss will start at the Sharks on May 20.
The Sharks also recently appointed highly credentialed senior business executive Richard Munro as Group CEO. He will officially begin his tenure at the Sharks in the coming weeks.
