Chad and One Meal Changing Lives

Sharks half back Chad Townsend works hard during a training week to get his game in order for match day, while always fulfilling his media, community and corporate responsibilities off the field.

In some of the best form of his career, Townsend leads a busy life, as a professional rugby league player, husband and father of a one-year-old daughter.

After being introduced to a local charity doing outstanding work in the Sutherland Shire, Townsend has gone over and above his club duties in assisting when his can with One Meal, a charity helping ot feed the homeless.

Troy Whittaker from Sporting News caught up with Townsend to talk through some of the work he is carrying out, the great job One Meal is doing and the satisfaction he gets from helping those less fortunate.
