While it’s disappointing to come away with a loss in the season opener, there we plenty of positives to take from the game.
Briton Nikora put in an impressive performance in his debut match, with a try saver on his opposite number in an 80-minute effort where he made 40 tackles and ran for 123 metres.
Jayden Brailey stood solid in defence as always, notching up 47 tackles with an efficiency rating of 97.9%.
Matt Moylan, although coming up with a couple of errors, ran for 192 metres, making 7 tackle breaks, a line break and putting two others through with two line break assists.
