The Sharks are set to run out 1-17 for the game against the Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium, with young forwards Briton Nikora and Blayke Brailey to make their NRL debuts.
The pair were joined by family members last night in a special jersey presentation, confirming their appearance in tonight’s clash.
For the Sharks both Shaun Johnson and Josh Morris will play their first games in Cronulla colours, while John Morris will preside over his first match as an NRL coach.
The Sharks team, to be led by Paul Gallen in his 327th game for the club, will run out unchanged from the side selected on Tuesday.
Scott Sorensen and Kyle Flanagan were omitted from the 19-man squad as named last night.
