After sifting through the numerous entries submitted in the Sharks 2018 Stand As One competition, the Sylvania Heights Public School, for their unwavering support through the finals series, have been declared the winners.
The Sharks called on schools, kindergartens, their students and teachers, along with businesses and workplaces, both in the local area and across the country, to support the Cronulla team and to jump on board during their 2018 NRL finals charge.
Entries were received from many schools and early learning centres, with special mention to Endeavour Sports High School, Loftus Kindergarten and Little Darlings Caringbah for their outstanding submissions.
Sharks NRL Coach Shane Flanagan was left with the task of identifying a winner, with Sylvania Heights, who dressed up their school and wore Sharks jersey's t-shirts and colours in showing their unwavering support, the stand out entrant.
The school wins a 2018 signed Sharks Jersey, a visit from Reefy the Sharks mascot, as well as other giveaways.
Sharks Have Heart created the competition to further support the Sharks campaign of #StandAsOne and in an effort to unite the Shire as the Sharks battled their way through the finals.
Unfortunately, the Sharks run came to an end one week shy of a Grand Final appearance, but many thanks to those who participated and supported the team.
