JL Gala Day: Photo Gallery
In an end-of-season celebration, the Cronulla-Sutherland District Junior Rugby League held their annual under 6’s, 7’s and 8’s Gala Day recently on a sunny Saturday at Southern Cross Group Stadium. Over 1,000 youngsters participated on a day, which ran form 8.30am until 5.00pm and where all 14 local clubs were represented, with the girls League Touch teams also on display. In addition to the action of the field there were jumping castles, face painting, activities for all, as well as appearances from Sharks stars Paul Gallen, Scott Sorensen and Jack Williams, club mascot Reefy and the Sharks Mermaids. Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the land and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on.
