NRL Team List - Sharks v Tigers

Following a disappointing loss to the Rabbitohs last Friday night, the Sharks will be keen to quickly respond with an improved performance on Sunday afternoon when they host the Wests Tigers at Southern Cross Group Stadium.

The Sharks came home with two late tries, but were outgunned by Souths for the majority of the contest, with the loss seeing them slip from fifth to seventh on the NRL ladder, making the Tigers clash a crucial one this weekend.

Pending his status after the State of Origin game on Wednesday night, Valentine Holmes will return to the Sharks side at fullback, with youngster Sione Katoa and the versatile Edrick Lee, who filled in capably at the back against Souths, named on the wings.

Wade Graham has been selected and will take his place in the Sharks team should be pass his concussion protocols during the week. The longer turnaround between games will certainly help Graham in his bid to fit for Sunday's clash.

The Sharks v Tigers match is scheduled for a 2.00pm kick off at Southern Cross Group Stadium on Sunday, with the local senior A Grade fixture, featuring the De La Salle and Kurnell clubs, to be played as the curtain raiser from 11.35am.

Gates open at 11.30am.
