Sharks visit special fans at Sutherland Hospital

As a part of the Sharks on-going efforts to engage and interact with the local community, a handful of NRL squad members took time out this week to drop into Sutherland Hospital.

In an effort to brighten the day of those experiencing some tough times due to illness or injury, Sharks NRL players Valentine Homes, Scott Sorensen, Braden Uele and Joseph Paulo were welcome visitors earlier this week.

The group met the young patients in the children's ward, handing out Sharks items as they went, before paying a visit to one very special, and vocal, Sharks fan in Ryan Cuthill.

A regular at Sharks training when he can get down to Southern Cross Group Stadium, Ryan was thrilled to say hello to the boys, while at the same time critiquing them on their most recent performances.

Ryan has also been known to be a strong supporter of Shane Flanagan, but also someone quick to offer words of advice to the Sharks coach.

Ryan is photographed with the four Sharks players.

The visit to Sutherland Hospital was a part of continuing efforts of Sharks Have Heart, the community arm of the Cronulla Sharks, to engage with the local community.
