Last Time We Met v Dragons

Round 2 - Match Highlights

It wasn't long ago, Round 2 in fact,  when the two sides last met in the first clash of the local derby in 2018.

The old adage ‘a game of two halves’ certainly rang true for the boys in the black, white and blue, with a dominant first half performance followed by an error riddled second stanza.

The Sharks raced out to a 14-0 lead in front of a vocal home crowd at Southern Cross Group Stadium, and looked to be in control before a freakish put down from Nene MacDonald got the Dragons within striking range as the Sharks woes set in.

Completing at 95% in the first half with just four penalties, the Sharks had a number of outstanding performers, none better than Matt Prior and Jayson Bukuya who were winning the battle of the forwards.

The second period however had few standout moments as the Dragons, mainly through the opportunities presented to them by the Sharks, would control the second 40.

Re-live all of the action from the last time we met, as we build towards the second local derby clash of 2018, where the Sharks will look to square up the ledger.
