Tarsha Gale girls remain unbeaten

Playing on the big stage as the curtain-raiser to the Roosters v Knights NRL match on Sunday, the Tarsha Gale Sharks have again delivered a stunning attacking performance to remain undefeated after seven rounds.

With the match played at Allianz Stadium, the Sharks scored in excess of 50-points for the sixth consecutive time, crossing for 10 tries in a 52-22 victory over the Sydney Roosters.

The Sharks scored early and scored often, taking a 30-12 lead to half time before going on with the job in the final period.

Faith Nathan scored four tries, Sariah Paki two, with Madison Higgins-Ashby nothing her 15th try in five games this season.

Half back and captain Quincy Dodd added six goals in taking her personal points tally for the season to 136 for the year.

The win kept the Sharks on top of the Tarsha Gale ladder, level on 14 points with the Illawarra Steelers and Wests Tigers who also boast perfect records through the first seven rounds.

The 52-points scored by the Sharks over the Roosters came on the back of pervious hauls of 68 against the Eels, 50 when they played the Dragons, 66 in a win over the Knights, 98 in beating Canberra and 70 in their first match of the year against the Bulldogs.

The Tarsha Gale Sharks now face a stern test of their credentials when they take on both the Tigers and Steelers in consecutive weeks before the start of the competition finals.
