They splashed on a little make up, put on the 2018 playing kit, then it was ‘lights, camera, action’ when a collection of Sharks NRL stars filmed promotion and preview sequences at Fox Sports headquarters at Artarmon on Wednesday.

Eight of the highest profile Sharks heeded the call from Fox in a three-hour shoot which saw them shoot show lead ins, conduct interviews for game previews and answer questions for a handful of the Fox League programs set to run throughout the 2018 season.

In line with a themed retro round during the year the boys competed against each other in a Super Mario Brothers Nintendo challenge (with the Luke Lewis-Andrew Fifita showdown particularly competitive and entertaining) and played table tennis against ‘The Professor’ from Fox Sports.

Josh Dugan, Luke Lewis and Chad Townsend then hung around to film a couple of promotional photos and videos alongside a number of St George-Illawarra Dragons squad members who had arrived early ahead of their Fox Sports team shoot.

For their efforts, Sharks fans will appreciate an end product that is promising to be spectacular, with some of what went on to be rolled out in the coming weeks and the remainder in the months that follow.

Sharks TV was allowed inside Fox Sports headquarters to capture some of the behind the scenes action as something of a teaser for what is to come.
