The popular and extremely successful Sharks School Holiday clinics return over in the upcoming Christmas School holidays, with Junior Jaws this summer headed for a new venue.
The skill development will be the same and again the Junior Jaws Clinic promises to offer plenty of footy fun, enough to keep the most energetic youngster occupied, but is this time scheduled to take place at an alternative location at North Cronulla Beach.
To be held on Wednesday, January 24, from 8.00am-11.00am, the Junior Jaws clinic will be open to boys and girls aged 4 to 9, and will again focus on the fundamentals of the sport of Rugby League, with program delivered in a manner that encourages young players to get involved in the fun of the game.
Junior Jaws participants will also receive a Sharks Junior Jaws t-shirt, as well as being provided fresh bananas and water courtesy of Kareela Fresh Fruit.
And while the younger brigade are down by the sea, the more advanced Super Jaws clinic for boys and girls aged 10 years and over, is set to take place at Southern Cross Group Stadium the home of the Sharks.
Also scheduled for Wednesday, January 24, Super Jaws is designed for those looking to take their Rugby League skills to the next level and is ideal for players of Tackle, Touch and Tag, with the skill statins involving small groups while our professional coaches focus on 1-on-1 coaching.
As a summer lead-in to the upcoming winter rugby league season, Super Jaws provides the perfect platform for skill development.
The program is designed and delivered by Jason Stanton who is the Head of Women’s Rugby League at the Sharks and the Assistant Coach to the New Zealand Ferns World Cup team.
Stanton is joined by former Sharks player, 2017 NYC Assistant Coach and current Sharks Matthews Cup coach Daniel Holdsworth, a man who played over 180 NRL and Super League Games.
Also attending will be Australian Jillaroo representatives.
The experience and knowledge the coaching team brings to the Super Jaws clinic ensures the program is second to none.
Super Jaws participants will also receive a Sharks Super Jaws t-shirt, as well as being provided fresh bananas and water courtesy of Kareela Fresh Fruit.
