Sharks Homestay Program

The Sharks, in partnership with the QORE Group, are seeking families to host young out-of-district Sharks recruits as a part of the Homestay Program.

In looking to give the players a safe and stable home environment while they chase their NRL dream, the Homestay Program involves families with a spare room or two hosting youngsters from interstate, regional NSW, New Zealand or the Pacific who have been brought into the Sharks junior development, under 20’s or NRL system.

Other than the satisfaction gained from helping these talented young footballers in continuing their rugby league journey, host families also receive several benefits once signed onto the program.

A number of players from the successful Sharks Holden Cup and SG Ball teams of 2017 stayed with host families throughout the just-completed season as a part of the Homestay Program.

To find out more, go the Facebook page  www.facebook.com/adoptasharkie, or call QORE Homestay Director Noelani Osueke on 0424 333 026 or email [email protected].

Help your club, play a part in the development of a talented young football and Adopt a Sharkie ahead of the 2018 season.
