Sharks Coach Shane Flanagan was at North Cronulla beach this morning for his weekly media call, with the questions starting with the Knights on Sunday, before focusing on the finals the following week.

Flanagan was firstly concerned with playing Newcastle on Sunday.

"It would be nice to go up there, play well and win and to come out of it with real confidence going into the semi finals," Flanagan said. "We've got a job to do and we'll go up there and do it."

The presser went on to cover who the Sharks might prefer to play in the finals, which day such a game should and would fall, before the topic of discussion turned to Josh Dugan and his switch to the Cronulla club in 2018.
