The Sharks welcome a new partner into their corporate family, with Heavy Duty Plumbing coming on board for the remainder of 2017 and into the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
A company specialising in medium to large scale commercial and industrial service design and installations, Heavy Duty Plumbing has signed on as the Coach Sponsor for the rest of the current season, while they will then increase their involvement to be Back of Shorts and again Coach Partner in 2018 and 2019.
In giving the partnership perhaps even more synergy, the Sharks Premiership winning NRL Coach Shane Flanagan was formerly a plumber himself and was pleased to welcome Heavy Duty Plumbing as the Club’s newest corporate supporter.
“As a former tradesman it’s great to see a company such as Heavy Duty Plumbing throwing its support behind the club as our Coach Sponsor and for them to back that up by putting their brand and logo on our shorts as well from next season,” Flanagan said.
“Hopefully we get plenty of wins this year, maybe even a second successive premiership and the partnership continues to grow and prosper for both Heavy Duty and the Sharks during the back end of this year and then into 2018.”
The Heavy Duty Plumbing partnership this season includes branding on Flanagan’s apparel and a corporate appearance from the Sharks Head Coach.
Next year the Coach component will remain, while in addition the Heavy Duty Plumbing logo will appear on the back of the NRL playing shorts and also on the official training kit.
Charlie Tannous, Director at Heavy Duty Plumbing was delighted his company was linking with the Sharks and was confident it would develop into a positive relationship for both parties.
“It’s exciting for Heavy Duty Plumbing to be partnering with the reigning NRL Premiers and their very successful Head Coach,” Tannous said. “The Sharks are a winning team and we’d like to think we are similar in the work that our team at Heavy Duty does for a variety of clients across a number of different industries.
“We look forward to working in partnership with the Sharks over the next three seasons.”
Heavy Duty Plumbing has carried out service installations to shopping centres, supermarkets, office buildings, industrial warehouses, aged care facilities, hotels, hospitals and food processing plants throughout Sydney, south to Wollongong and north into the Central Coast.
