It happened a long time ago, the first round to be exact, however this week the NYC Sharks face one of only two teams to have beaten them in 2017.
Since a round one loss to the Broncos, then a defeat at the hands of the Parramatta Eels, only a draw against the Panthers blemishes a perfect record with the Sharks looking for a 14th straight victory on Friday night.
In their favour the Sharks have retained all but one player from the team which comfortably defeated the Raiders last Saturday afternoon, with forward Brock Ilett ruled out with injury.
In a boost to the Sharks backline however Isaac Lumelume returns after one week on the sideline, which Jesse Ramien has been retained after coming back into the NYC squad. Ramien has played most of the season in the Intrust Super Premiership with the Sharks partner club the Newtown Jets.
The Sharks v Broncos NYC clash is scheduled to get underway at 5.35pm at Suncorp Stadium on Friday.
