Wade Graham will be free to play the Broncos on Friday night after taking the early guilty plea on his grade one dangerous tackle charge.

Graham was charged by the match review committee for a lifting tackle on young Raiders winger Nick Cotric however with the early guilty plea and the 90 point penalty he will be available for the Sharks for the crucial clash in Brisbane this weekend.

Had the Sharks decided to challenge the charge and were unsuccessful in having it dismissed at a judiciary hearing, the 120 point penalty would have seen Graham miss one game.

He now has 90 carry over points after taking the early plea.

The incident in question came in the 33rd minute, with Graham lifting the young Canberra back but in pulling out of the tackle and not driving his opponent he escaped a more serious grading.

High tackles from Paul Gallen and Andrew Fifita during the loss to Canberra, both of which were penalised but not placed on report, were not deemed serious enough to attract the attention of the match review.
