Two Friday night fixtures, three Saturday’s and a final round Sunday match up with the Newcastle Knights is what the Sharks can look forward to over the last six rounds of the 2017 competition.
The NRL today released the schedule for the final six rounds of the Premiership which includes the introduction of free-to-air matches across all four days of the final five rounds.
Only one short turnaround is likely to please the football department, while the three Sharks Saturday matches are to be broadcast on both Fox Sports and Channel 9.
The just-released draw begins with a 6.00pm (Sydney time) Friday night match against the Warriors, followed by a Saturday night clash with the Canberra Raiders at Southern Cross Group Stadium.
The Sharks only free-to-air game is a Friday night match in round 23 in Brisbane against the Broncos, then just six days later they play the Cowboys in North Queensland on Saturday night. Kick off for that game is 7.30pm.
Round 25 it’s the Roosters at home, again at 7.30pm on a Saturday night, before the final round game in Newcastle against the Knights.
