Sharks fans can look forward to an afternoon filled with footy and fun when the Cronulla Sharks wrestle the Manly Sea Eagles for the Steve Rogers Cup at Southern Cross Group Stadium (SCGS).

We’ve teamed up with Sharks Buddies to organise an afternoon chock-a-block of family fun.

There’s plenty to celebrate on Sunday, with Wade Graham playing his 150th Sharks NRL game and Sosaia Feki hitting the field for his 100th NRL and Sharks match.

SCGS will open its gates at 1:00pm as the NYC Sharks and Sea Eagles warm up for a 1:15pm kick off. Cronulla’s under 20’s side are dominating the competition and will be hungry to retain their position at the top of the ladder.

Drummers, DJs, Stilt walkers, Balloon Sculptors, mascots and the Cronulla Sharks Mermaids will be roaming the grounds to pump everyone up. Kids can get excited for face painters, the sharks slide, obstacle course and a 6in1 castle.

At 2:45pm, the Sharks’ fierce Women’s Series side will go head to head with the Canberra Raiders. The curtain-raising clash marks the last time our Women in Black, White and Blue play in this year’s Women’s Series. Expect an exciting game - the Sharks have won five of their last six games and are bound to finish the season off with a bang!

Your favourite MCs Dane Wheeler and Matt DeGroot will open our exciting pre-game entertainment at 3:20pm. The Sutherland Shire secondary all-schools winners will be presented their medals, an epic 67 Dance Crew performances and the Sharks skills development program will be on display.

The Cronulla Sharks Mermaids will form a dazzling guard of honour to welcome both NRL sides for a 4:12pm kick off.

At 4:55pm, the half time siren will sound and the Mermaids will remind us all why they’re the best in the business with a sparkling new routine. Community partner, Sharks Buddies, will walk a lap of the field and fans will belt out another crowd sing-a-long.

Satisfy your every craving with a menu of scrumptious food options! Around the stadium you’ll find Howling Forest coffee, Berlin Bangers, Street Sliders, Cheesee Toasties, pizza, a sausage sizzle, ice cream and more!

Full time will be called at 5:50pm and kids can hit the field for a run-around once the field has been cleared by ground staff. Then join us for our official post-match presentation hosted by Beau Ryan, hear from the coaches and award winners from all three grades, this will take place next door in the auditorium at the Cronulla Sharks Rugby Leagues Club.

Don’t miss our first Sunday afternoon footy match this season in what will be a cracking match on the field in the battle of the beaches!
