Southern Cross Group Stadium (SCGS) will be the venue for a huge night of rugby league action, highlighted by a thrilling Grand Final rematch between the Cronulla Sharks and the Melbourne Storm!

Sharks fans can expect an action-packed Rugby League triple header, an evening filled with live entertainment, delicious food and a Relay for Life Sharks lap at half time of the main game.

The night also marks 100 NRL games for playmaker Chad Townsend and 150 for utility back Gerard Beale.

Gates will open at 5:00pm, with the NYC Sharks take to the field shortly after for a 5:05pm kick off in a match where the young Sharks will be looking to consolidate their position at the top of the competition table with another convincing win over the men from Melbourne.

The Sharks’ Women’s Series side will then hit the field at 6:45pm to take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs. These teams share a history of very close contests… and Thursday night’s match is bound to be another!

As usual, the grounds at SCGS will be buzzing with DJs, drummers, face painting, mascots and a Sharks slide! A variety of food options will be scattered around the stadium – expect everything from burgers and sausages to ice cream and coffee!

Pre-game entertainment kicks off at 7:10pm as your favourite MC Dane Wheeler returns to SCGS! Junior Rugby League will take over the field while fans will show off their best moves on Dance Cam.

The Cronulla Sharks Mermaids will raise the roof with a dazzling guard of honour performance before the NRL Sharks and Melbourne kick off at 7:55pm. The clash is expected to be another arm wrestle, with both teams fighting for a position at the top of the ladder.

The Mermaids will return to the field at half time with another exquisite performance, while Sharks and Storm fans will unite to cheer as community partner Relay for Life walk a lap of the field. Spectators can also look forward to belting out another classic tune as part of our crowd sing-a-long.

Kids will hit the field following the full time siren and the fun continues long after the final whistle! Make your way next door to the Leagues Club and you’ll catch the Michael Hanratty Duo playing in the Steve Rogers Lounge from 9:30pm.

The Cronulla Sharks has teamed up with Relay for Life and Coats Hire to deliver Thursday night’s fun-filled clash. If you’re a full season member, arrive before 7:00pm and you’ll receive a free general admission ticket.
