Sharks NYC coach John Morris has been forced into a couple of changes for their game against the Bulldogs on Saturday due to three NYC squad members being chosen in the NSW under 20’s team to play Queensland next week.
Billy Magoulias and Isaac Lumelume will be missing from the team which beat the Cowboys last Thursday night, while Jesse Ramien, who has been playing with the Newtown Jets over the past month is also unavailable after all three were named in the NSW squad.
As a result Morris has made a positional changes, with Ryan King switching to Magoulias’s lock spot, Eddie Faalua moves into the starting side and Clayton Uia makes a return to the Sharks team in the centres.
The NYC Sharks moved into first position last weekend when they beat the Cowboys and the previous leaders the Panthers went down to the Knights, and while the Bulldogs sit in 13th place currently, Morris’s team will need to show them plenty of respect if they hope to get the two points this weekend.
Kick off to the NYC game is scheduled for 5.15pm at Southern Cross Group Stadium on Saturday night.
