The Jets will be looking to put the disappointment of a last start loss well and truly behind them when they travel to New Zealand to take on the Warriors in a round six match up on Sunday.

Beaten by the Knights in their most recent outing, again the Jets will field a team with an abundance of NRL experience and coach Greg Matterson will be hoping for an improved performance and a different result this time around.

The match is scheduled for an 11.45am kick off (NZ time – 9.45 Sydney time) at Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland and will be televised in Australia live on Fox Sports Channel 502.

Disappointing showing by the Jets as the Knights prevail

This fifth round ISP match against the Newcastle Knights was in effect Newtown’s first home game of the year, but it had to be played at the Southern Cross Group Stadium (Cronulla’s home ground) to accommodate the Fox Sports live television infrastructure requirements. The Jets fielded a strong line-up but their best-laid plans were overturned by a very determined Knights outfit.
