The Sharks have gone down to the Brisbane Broncos 30-12 in tonight’s trial in Redcliffe.

Both sides put on strong sides to begin the match, the early exchanges between the sides were entertaining for the local crowd.

Sharks five-eight Nu Brown was the first to trouble the scorers, crashing over the line after showing a clean set of heels to evade the opposition.

James Maloney converted the try and the Sharks would lead 6-0.

The Broncos would pressure the Sharks try line through a series of sets and the Sharks would not be able to hold the Broncos out, hitting back through Tevita Pengai Jnr.

Jamayne Isaako would convert the try and the scores were tied at 6-6.
