Valentine Holmes says he's excited to bring the lessons learnt while on the recent Kangaroos tour back to his Cronulla Sharks team.
Having travelled with some of the most senior players in the NRL, Holmes said the experience was something he'll learn from as he develops as a player.
"It was definately eye opening," said Holmes.
"It was a privilege to be named in that team and play a few games. I was very honoured and happy to play alongside those guys and alongside Jimmy also so it was awesome."
Holmes also said he is excited about the prosepct of lining up in the #1 jersey for the 2017 season however said he is happy to play where Shane Flanagan would like him.
